One of our Dream Families is experiencing a food crisis. We'd love to help their family by providing nutritious meals to help them get through this rough patch.
There are 9 children ranging in age from 10 months to 15 years old. There are no allergies or sensitivities, but they do try to eat as healthy as possible to support their child currently undergoing cancer treatment. One of their favorite foods is pineapple!
This family lives in Fleming Island. Food/meals can be dropped off to Katie at the DCT office before 1:30 pm for same-day delivery or before 4:30 pm for next-day delivery, or you can do a porch drop-off at the family's home if you wish.
Details for drop-off at the home will be provided after sign-up and volunteer verification.
Options can include any or all of the following:
- a prepared dinner with directions for reheating
- a gift card for groceries or meal delivery (Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, etc.)
- grocery staples (think breakfast, lunch, etc.)
Please indicate in the "additional information" whether you will deliver the food or will drop off to the DCT office. If the day(s) you'd like to volunteer have already been claimed, please add yourself to the Waitlist and if a spot opens up, you'll receive an email.
