For the first time ever, the Clay County Fair will have a human slot machine for charity, and you can be a part of it! Check out this viral video to see what you'll be doing!
Friday, April 5 from 10 am - 7 pm (shifts are in 2-3 hour increments)
5 volunteers are needed for each shift --
- 3 for inside the booth (minimum age 16)
- 1 to attract customers and give directions outside the booth (minimum age 16, and should be comfortable talking to others)
- 1 to collect donations (must be an established DCT volunteer or staff)
All activities are outside. The booth will be by the main gate or in front of the exhibit buildings. Please plan to arrive at the booth approximately 15 minutes prior to your shift. Traffic and parking near the fair can get very backed up, so please plan accordingly.
You are free to enjoy the fair before and after your shift-- free of charge! Your name will be at will-call at the Main Gate so you can enter without buying an admission ticket. (Any extra children or adults will have to pay admission.)
