Opportunities From: Dreams Come True of Jacksonville

The KB Home Dreams Come True Golf Tournament is Monday, May 4, 2026 at San Jose Country Club. We are looking for volunteers to assist throughout the day with this signature event.

It's a day filled with golf, food, and fun -- it's all FORE the kids!

Shifts are provided below for selecting.

Based on shift, volunteer duties will include one or some of the following:

All volunteers are provided breakfast and/or lunch based on their volunteer schedule

Hole-in-One Spotter:  Outdoors assisting with being witnesses to any hole-in-one; we'll provide you with a chair and shade

Floater: Both inside and outside; help wherever needed; provide relief when Hole-in-One spotters need a break

Silent Auction Checkout and Clean Up: Mainly indoors, assisting with checking out guests and gathering their items (may include assisting guests with items to their car). Volunteers will also be needed to help load event materials into staff cars.

Roles will be assigned the day-of, based on current event needs.

This opportunity is for 18+ only.

Occasionally we have Dreamers who receive a toy or furniture item that needs assembling. This might mean a piece of IKEA furniture, a bike, a Power Wheels, etc. Respond to this opportunity if you are interested in being notified when there is a need for assembly of items.  

Assembly may be on-site at the Dreams Come True office, on-location of a dream, or could potentially be pick-up & assemble at home. It will depend on the specifics of that need. 

Dates and times will vary but will generally be flexible. You should be able to read and follow written directions with no supervision.

Help our Dreamers and their families celebrate No More Chemo and other memorable milestones in their healing journeys by delivering and placing yard signs! Volunteers are needed in all areas of Northeast Florida & Southeast Georgia.

Do you have a reliable vehicle? Are you able to make basket/meal deliveries? Does your brain work like Google Maps (just kidding, you can use GPS)? If so, this is the role for you! While our DCT offices are off Belfort & Southpoint, we serve Dreamers & their families all over the region. We need volunteers who can pick up various items (those might be meals, items from our office, or items from a site or store) and deliver them to a family or to our office for a family to pick up.

We occasionally have random tasks that we need help with on short notice. This might include organizing a closet, washing blankets, folding and sorting a t-shirt order, stuffing bags for an event, etc. These will typically be at the DCT office.
